Difficulty: Moderate - steady climb at start on good tracks, one short, steep descent on rocky path

Features: Corringdon Ball Barrow, Glasscombe stone rows, Avon valley

Summary

Sunday, 24th March 2024  Aish Ridge, Shipley Bridge and Didworthy

From South Brent, we walk beside the Avon and then up onto Aish Ridge and Corringdon Ball.  After exploring the antiquities up there, we follow the ancient track that leads down the valley side.  We walk up to Shipley Bridge, then return on the eastern side of the Avon with lovely views out over the river valley.
