"I love the wide open spaces of Dartmoor but need to build up my walking ability. Do you do any shorter/gentle walks?"

Difficulty: Easy - mostly level and good paths, could be very muddy

Summary

Tuesday, 10th February  River Bovey and Easdon Tor woodland

Starting in the village of North Bovey, we walked past the church to the river which we follow into the grounds of Bovey Castle.  We loop through the grounds and emerge at the back where we follow quiet lanes to the slopes of Easdon Tor.  We walk through the woodlands and then another quiet lane brings us back to the village.
